I don't understand certain things about the mine.
Why was the mine flooded and the lake drained? How did that fit into the plans of flooding Silicon Valley? And what happened to all that water because when Bond and MayDay go back outside the mine, it looks as dry as a desert.
So the large bomb would have started an earthquake and then Silicon Valley would have been flooded? Did the pumping of the water at Zorin's oil fields have something to do with that?

1. Why didn't Moore stop playing Bond sooner when it was clear age was catching up to him?
2. What was going through Bond's mind to want to sleep with May Day?
3. How could Stacy's legs look so good?
4. How could the movie have such obvious stunt doubles for Moore?
5. How could Stacy not notice the blimp slowly moving toward her from behind even as Bond warned her about it?
I know a lot of people don't like it, but I've always found A View to a Kill to be entertaining though flawed for sure.

I don't think A View to a Kill is a bad film, but for me it's the most forgettable of all the Bond films.

Also, a lake would have many thousands or even millions of gallons of water. And yet there was hardly any water going through the mine in comparison. Couldn't it have gone all the way up to the top of the mine?
What exactly did they tell those miners their purpose was for digging around like that under the lake?

He had to do it to fool them when they didn't see him in the guest room. Besides, since when does Bond turn down an attractive woman no matter who she is? And I think they did more than just sleep. 3. The gym. 4. Really? You don't think that was Moore hanging on the moor? Fun fact: One of the stuntmen was named Les. So we could say that Les is Moore. 5, What I wanna know is how did they manage to get the blimp that low and that fast when in a previous shot it was much higher and she is not that far from running towards Bond. The timing of the shots do not match up. And what was the intention of capturing her anyway.

The answer to 1 is Octopussy was meant to be his last but it was such a hit, Moore was offered this next one. The answer to 3 is Tanya Roberts is blessed with superior genetics.

I actually like "A VIEW TO A KILL".
I also liked Christopher Walken as the Main Villain in it.
It is also kind of interesting and a little funny to know that Dolph Lundgren was briefly in it.

It's even more ridiculous with audio: Was that stuntman actually hanging onto the rope hundreds of feet up or was he in front of a movie or photo backdrop? If it's the former then I would hope or guess he had some kind of safety harness attached to the rope in some way. And what they should have done was fly just above the water giving Bond a dip with an attempt to drown him. Or just keep on flying until he is too tired to hang on anymore. Of course what they, and every other villian who has him should do, is just shoot him on sight with one to the head instead of always giving him these chances to escape.

Can anyone answer this or is everyone who has seen it as confused as I am? Here's the best I can do. The mines were flooded because underneath them was a "geological lock" as mentioned by Stacey that was holding the San Andreas and Hayward faults together. By the movie's logic, flooding the faults would create the earthquake. Another explosive was placed out to break the geological lock by which Zorin could amplify the power of the earthquake. I'll have to rewatch the movie to answer the other questions.
