IIRC, the original Fantasy Island pilot movie was darker than the series, with Mr. Roarke being more of a morally ambiguous character. According to the IMDb, So it might work, or it might be just another terrible remake. |

It's been about nine months since "A Star is Born" hit theatres, by the way. I'm gonna wait to see the trailer for "Fantasy Island" before I condemn it.

If Jeff wadlow is directing, it’ll be crap. I love the idea behind it though. Remember when it was supposed to be a comedy starring Eddie Murphy?
