Leslie Caron
Born in the suburbs of Paris, France on July 1, 1931, Leslie Caron began her career as a ballerina, then was discovered by Gene Kelley, who cast her in An American in Paris (1951). Thus began her long and successful career in films and television that garnered her two Oscar nominations along the way, and won her an Emmy Award in 2007 for a superb guest starring performance in Law and Order SVU.
A few of her other notable films out of many include Lili (1953), for which she received an Oscar nomination as best actress,
Gigi (1958)
The L-Shaped Room (1962), for which she received her second best actress Oscar nomination,
and Chocolat (2000).
In a 68 year career she has made the world a more beautiful place by the use of her remarkable talent.
Happy 88th Birthday, Ms. Caron. May it be a joyous one.

Thanks for the great pix, teleadm . I recognize Daddy Long Legs, Gigi, Fanny, and Father Goose, but what are the last two? The one where she talks on telephone is from A Very Special Favour 1965, and the last on the bench is from the British TV-series The Durrells or The Durrells in Corfu 2016-2018.
