Feels like the USA are bossing it in midfield, despite the odd slip-up. They look fitter, healthier and happier, like superathletes. England need to get to more second balls if they can't find a player to control play in the centre.

A lot more scoring than I thought would happen in the first half. Not very good defending on either side, everyone looks tense. Somebody's got to relax.
England 1 - 2 USA at the half.
I think things will open up even more in the second. Could get wild.

England poor again at the penalty spot. But Fran Kirby has show ball control in midfield and opened up avenues of play, England need to keep the pressure on the USA.

Ripinho is walking fine and jumping into teammates arms. Somebody asked Ellis about Ripinoe's hamstring injury at halftime and all she said was, "No comment".  Doesn't sound like a real hamstring injury to me.
