Par for the course with Marvel. Fun movie but lacks real staying power when compared with past films in this never ending series. Tom Holland really makes us forget anyone else who has played the title character as he continues to own it. The plot twist to reveal Quentin Beck is a bad guy is most surprising in how it really stretches our suspension of belief. Remember that scene way back in the first Iron Man when Lebowski berates a scientist when saying “Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave with a box of scraps!!”? That motherfucker is brought back and plays an integral part of the plot. That leads to the mid credit scene where Spider-Man’s identity is revealed to the world. Holy shit, right? Now, even more exciting is that scene has JK Simmons back as J. Jonah Jameson, now working for dailybugle.net as an Alex Jones type. The final credits scene is even more baffling. It’s shown that Fury and Agent Hill were Skrulls the entire movie. The actual Nick Fury is chilling on a spaceship somewhere working with other Skrulls. 7/10

For some reason I can't stand Tom Holland's performance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. His voice and personality are like nails on a chalkboard to me.
