In 1963 the Mets' Jimmy Piersall celebrated his 100th home run by rounding the bases backwards. Wouldn't he be ruled out, and the home run erased.......or would it stand ?? SAVE FERRIS

Backwards as in he went third-second-first-home, or he ran the bases in order but...backwards? If it’s the former, I’d imagine that would be a rules infraction but the latter should be fine.
