I don’t think people will complain much about that type of casting if it’s someone generally well liked and we know is a reliable actor. Did people complain when Laurence Fishburne was cast as Perry White in Man of Steel? |

Of course there's always a vocal minority. Whatever you do you're always going to end up upsetting someone. I'm sure there's people saying "isn't it about time we had a black Batman".
