The film "Midnight in the Switchgrass" was pretty disappointing. It would've been more compelling had it stuck to the real events. It's just another generic serial killer movie. It was loosely based on Rhodes. |

Indie projects and TV episodes have been made about them. But they could use some professional movies. Perhaps too sadistic given their crimes...
I thought the recent series "Des" about Dennis Nilsen was brilliant and very emotional. David Tennant was great. And it didn't focus on the gory details.
BBC has already filmed "4 lives". About the young men who were killed meeting a man off Grindr. It's been Delayed from broadcast until further investigation.

There's a low budget one about him. "Scream" is very loosely based on him. He didn't wear a mask or taunt his victims over the phone as you know. Who is Eddy murder? Also "3 Lives" actually started airing on BBC on January 3rd just after I posted it... My bad! |

I might check it out, it's on HBO Max. I had never heard of the West's until this summer. Made my skin crawl. Then I read that Rose and Myra Hindley were an item in prison. YUCK.
