I enjoyed it. Its essentially stupid (especially lame villan and his ridiculous motivation) but Tom Holland is so easy to like and there was lots of Happy who is also enteraining so why not. Harmless fun. I would recommend it.
But it did reinforce How idiotic it was that the Avengers brought all the dead people back. What a tragedy for Earth and what a silly premise for the universe. It would fuck up so many more things than just what whas shown.
7.5/10
And what did you think?

Basically a high school rom-com with a bunch of forced romances. Peter and MJ - No chemistry at all. Happy and May - No chemistry at all. Ned and Betty - They give Hulk and Black Widow a run for worst MCU couple. And Far From Home is another example of why MCU movies have really lazy and contrived writing. Talos (disguised as Nick Fury) knows that the fire monster is going to attack Prague. Fortunately, Peter's classmates are going to Paris so they won't be in any danger. Oh wait . . . Talos tricks Peter's classmates into going to Prague, thus putting them in harm's way and endangering their lives. What kind of federal agency tricks civilians, many of whom are minors, into going to a place where they know an attack is going to happen? Moreover, Peter also knows that the fire monster is going to attack Prague so Peter should've warned the 2 chaperones: "Hey, I used to intern for Tony Stark and my former colleagues at Stark just texted me that a fire monster is going to attack Prague similar to the water monster in Venice so you shouldn't take the class to Prague."

DC-Fan everybody knows you did not actually see the movie you got your info from the internet talking about it, secondly if you saw the movie you paint yourself as a major hypocrite as you make it abundantly clear every day of the week that you dislike most things MCU and want to see it fail so why bother seeing a sequel and one that happens to be to the 'worst Spider-Man movie ever made' as you often describe?

I thought that first psychedelic illusion scene was awesome and I loved the romance story a lot, but I thought the rest was your average MCU fluff.
I still don’t get why they seem to just put something like 75% effort into these movies. I mean I guess I know why, but their own rapid-fire approach is not an excuse.
This is another example of an MCU movie that - had it focused on perfectly all of the CGI, writing some more clever reveals, and shooting the action with any unique flare whatsoever - could be a great movie. Instead it’s just a good one.
7/10

I loved the romance story a lot You loved the Ned-Betty 48-hour romance? I still don’t get why they seem to just put something like 75% effort into these movies. Because MCU movies are made for kids and Kevin Feige knows that kids will go see the movies no matter how awful and crappy the movies are.

These Tom Holland Spiderman's look way too juvenile. Agreed. Homecoming and Far From Home are just really bad high school comedy movies.

I dont like how Spiderman has legs that come out his back now. that was never in the comic books. It was when the Iron Spider costume was introduced back in 2006. And he has had extra arms a few times since the 70s

I personally don't think they do. But if you are looking for a reason...maybe because the filmmakers are paying for all the budget but get none of the Box Office in return (as part of the share deal Sony get's the BO not Disney, Disney get the merchandising)

Oh, as opposed to mature DCEU movies with pee pee jokes in Aquaman, and a little kid who turns into a superhero in Shazam. You're an idiot.

I feel bad for the people who have to deal with him in real life, would not be surprised if he is the direct cause for some of them turning to alcohol.

After a good Captain Marvel and an OK Endgame, Marvel delivers an Ant-man level bad kids adventure. Killer drones lol. The Avengers gave up on Europe where the hell were all the other heroes? Marisa Tomei the only redeeming thing in Far From Home. The action was terrible, felt like i was watching someone play the new PS4 game.
4.5/10
might be the worst spidey ever

felt like i was watching someone play the new PS4 game. 4.5/10 might be the worst spidey ever You might be on to something. I always got the distinct impression many of the rabid mcu fans (some members of this board for example) entire "lives" consist of posting non stop about mcu, rewatching mcu movies and playing video games. Perhaps the video game simplicity so unlike actually living and interacting with real people is what makes the mcu films popular with mass audiences and also an obsession with others. Somehow gaining pleasure from WATCHING someone else play a video game seems very common to certain segments of the population these days. I find the whole concept bizarre and unfathomable. It makes me feel sad for those people. The reviews haven't really made me want to seek out even a streaming copy of the latest Spidey movie. It's odd that nora basically shits on everything about the movie (except she has a perverse old woman crush on a teenager) but still recommends it.

Also how did they suddenly retcon Zendayas character to be MJ? Her name was Michelle in Homecoming. They just simultaneously retconned and racialised a major comic book character.

It's not that sudden. She was referred to as "MJ" in Homecoming. Mary Jane hasn't been racialised (whatever hat means)...Michelle Jones, with the the nickname MJ is not the same character. Don't see the big deal.

Are they going to invent another new character named Barry Oswick who flies around on hovering rollerblades? I feel like I'm in an Aldi store.

Well they said it was intended as a homage when Homecoming came out...depends what you find cheesy I guess. She is not based in any on Mary Jane. Mary Jane may still appear in the future. Also it might be a shrewd move...Mary Jane is a Sony owned character, Michelle Johnson I assume is a Disney one, so she can if needed be used in other films without SONY's permission. Some might ask what's the point of that, but there have been rumours since Homecoming that Johnson is related to Nick Fury, possibly his daughter. A long shot, but that later option is till there.
