I had a look at the discography available on iTunes. I had also recognized "Top Of The Pops", which I downloaded.
Then, I saw there was a live album, called "11 Live" (or something like that). It features all of the songs on "11", which is the album that has "A Girl Like You".
I downloaded the live version of "A Girl Like You".
Plus, I didn't know the lead singer just passed away recently. Within the last couple of years, anyway.

Yes, unbelievably the lead singer and the bassist both died not long ago, 2017 I think. I remember the original bassist rejoining the band after the then-bassist passed away. Some great songs they have. Good on you. Jokers_Wilde |

I saw the Smithereens like 4/5 times back in the '80s when those albums were released, mostly at the Hollywood Paladium. Good times. Eh, bet those were some gigs. I got hooked on 'Especially For You' album. Not surprisingly I was probably one of thousands who played and rewound and replayed Behind The Wall of Sleep over and over till the cassette player chewed up the tape.
