Not watched one minute of it, brah, but that doesn't mean you can escape the serious coverage the show is given elsewhere. I shan't bother linking but I read LaFong's 'Barcelona is in Italy' thread.
I don't find it funny in the least that a grown person doesn't know where Barcelona is. And in fact, I believe it's put on. Nobody is that stupid. Not even me.
But people will watch this sh*t till the cows come home. And fair play, nothing to do with me, but I do think the viewing public can be gullible and or hoodwinked by these shows and the contestants in them. No doubt a lot of them see it for what it is, a contrived attempt at humour but a lot of them must take it as real life and this is how these contestants go about their daily lives away from the show. Jesus H Christ. Who was that other silly f***er who was in the news, Joey the Essex. They'd make out like he couldn't tell the time from an analogue f***ing wristwatch or summat and he'd go along with it and viewers loved it, made him almost a national treasure in their eyes.
I can't continue, I'm getting depressed, brah.

I watched a clip from "Come Dine With Me" recently which showed a British girl who was unable to explain the distinction between "British" and "English".
Utter... pish!
