Like thinking of a certain scene over and over again and you can't recall what movie it is in and it drives you nuts until you finally remember where you saw it? Or sometimes a certain scene or dialog just pops into your head out of nowhere for no reason? Or is it just me?

I'm sure I've had that happen here and there.

One of the greatest gift the Internet bestowed on my life was then end to mental blockages for movies. You would be sitting around, think of a movie and get a brain cramp over the title or some detail. "Dude, what was the Clint Eastwwod movie where he painted the town red, literally? Crap I can't remember." Or the sleepless nights because you couldn't remember who played the three Geste Bros in the silent version. Now High Plains Drifter and Ronald Colman, Neil Hamilton and Ralph Forbes are just a few keystrokes away.

Sometimes.
For a while, I had a scene in my head where someone, a woman, was letting a man down easy and the last thing she said to him was "I'll probably see you tomorrow" in a very gentle let-down way.
Turns out it was Frances McDormand telling it to Bruce Willis in Moonrise Kingdom.

Someone on here solved a decades old mystery for me. A tv movie with a "Barry Sullivan" type guy challenging dinner guests to prove their value in a hypothetical lifeboat situation. SURVIVAL 1976. Unfortunately not available on video anywhere. But glad to know it was a real movie and not something I confused with another one.
