I wonder which one of you dumbass scientific 'geniuses' can answer Mr. Kaku's question.

Nobody can answer the question of why there is matter rather than antimatter. It's one of the unsolved mysteries of science.

And you know what happens when there isn't an answer? The God of the Gaps makes His appearance. isnt an unsolved mystery of science a gap?š Yes, the gap is real. The god of the gap on the other hand is in people's imaginations, and goes away if and when science closes the gap.

It seems like the argument just boils down to god of the gaps is stupid because god doesnāt exist but thereās probably a scientific gap for that argument as well.

The problem is when theists use a gap as evidence for the existence of god(s). The historical track record leans greatly against that kind of argument.

I wish we could convert thefleetsin's "poetry" into antimatter.

Anti-matter and dark matter are not the same thing. We donāt even know if the latter actually exists, itās just a placeholder name for something we canāt see or detect, yet seems to exist because of gravitational effects we canāt account for.

It seems like the argument just boils down to god of the gaps is stupid because god doesnāt exist but thereās probably a scientific gap for that argument as well. False equivalency, if you're gonna seriosuly say "a gap is a gap" in that context, then you might as well just compare a pothole to the grand canyon, even though one is a much bigger leap. Scientific/naturalistic explanations for the universe have actually been demonstrated to exist, so it's more reasonalbe to assume there's a naturalistic explanation for some "mystery" of the universe, there's never been close to a "theistic" explanation actually verified for anything. Because naturalism has actually been demonstrated, it's the more likely explanation for something, therefore the more reasonable option of the two. Sorry but your little "science requires faith too" argument is just gibberish.

a symphony for elton
the last time i saw paris even though i've never been you were half-embarrassed from too little tonic and way too much gin.
dancing like a madman promising it's only sin i was too young to even fathom the depths of trouble you'd have me in.
i wanted to write something cleverly chaotic, borderline neurotic, but you've left me holding spin. like one too many prophets flailing lightning for the win.
someone write a symphony for elton, before i cash it in. for i can't put two notes together without you chiming in!
sjw 07/12/19 inspired at this very moment in time by the one, the only, Sir Elton John. :-)
from the 'benevolent series' of poems
