A Hard Day's Night has a few slang terms I've not encountered.
Bridewell – jail
Barney – fight
In at least one version of A Christmas Carol the boy Scrooge asks to buy a goose scornfully says, "Walker!" Had to look that one up in the OED.

Not sure I've ever heard anyone in real life use the word "groovy", except humorously. However, Framus/Henry Valentine on the old board did.
