Bog bike racing
River football
Now then... those are great sporting/drinking events, or manifestations of mental illness, according to some... either way, they are grand days out in Gloucestershire and Wales 👍

It's changed, but if I'm not mistaken, for a number of years it (usually) was the Red's home opener that kicked-off the start of the regular season for the rest of the league......  SAVE FERRISThere are a couple on there that are hard to do anymore - - Backyard Brawl hasn't been played since 2011 and won't be played again until 2022. Seeing USC basketball is something you must see? yeah, i'm thinking arizona & ucla would be the game to see at pauley.

This list doesn't appear to have the snooker or the darts on it... When I was younger I always dreamed of going to the darts final at the lakeside. But sadly the split happened and it was a half way house for a long time in terms of where you'd want to go. Now though the PDC World Championships at Alexandra Palace would be the one to see... Now I've seen the Crucible in the Crucible (similarly I've enjoyed a Bakewell tart in Bakewell, had a Cornish Pasty in Cornwall and a piece of Black Forest Gateau in the Black Forest) but sadly never seen the snooker World Championship finals there. |
