you almost have to include a 'soul' in just about everything nowadays. people are so inundated by the whodoo voodoo that it's a given for any new world magician to imply an out-of-this-world experience into mantra this or mantra that. dear lord, bend a spoon and you could be the next incarnation of the baby jesus.
people, apparently, need to feel connected to something larger than themselves. large enough to encompass the universe and then some. when in reality, we are the universe. as we are also this tiny little void, like a baby's mobile in a crib. this anomaly where mastering the art of feeding the sharks is paramount in possessing a piece of the action.
i, once saw two hearts collide and entirely understood the laws of gravity and thermodynamics. of course to me, string theory was and still is: two dixie cups suspended, connected to each other by string. i often wonder if the world is but one enormous heart. . . for i have seen it time and time again in thousands of eyes.
