I've been watching some old music videos of hers and remembered how great it was to see a video where the focus was on the voice and not on the usual half-clad singers and dancers shaking their butts.

Not sure if people would have wanted to see her half-clad and shaking her butt. That's the point: she doesn't have to do that. People watch/listen to her for her talent in singing.

Many of the current crop of pop tarts could just as well be swinging from a pole in their scanties, and at least it can be said of strippers that they don't torture their customers with their attempts at singing while performing.
