As a young'n, Batteries Not Included was the first film I was ever a fan of. I liked the saucers, and I liked anything saucer shaped because of that, frisbees, spinning tops etc.
Then later I found Star Wars. Fast forward many years later and it was the Alien films, then Blue Velvet totally turned the tables and altered me and gave me an experience I never had before.

None in particular. When I was growing up me and my parents watched various classic films that were shown on TV. I also had some children's films on VHS ("Lady the Tramp", stuff like that, as well as more contemporary fare like "A Bug's Life"). Because of cable TV and VCRs, I simply considered films as a regular part of life.
