Too bad they didn't do a fourth chapter. It's terrible. Captain America: The First Avenger is vastly superior to Thor 1, Hulk and even Homecoming. Without counting the lame first Ant-Man movie - which is essentially a flawed kid comedy. I would dare to say that First Avenger beats "Wonder Woman", it's much more exciting and poignant. Iron Man 1 has an amazing first half, but the second half is not as much brilliant as the first one. The Winter Soldier is a celebrated masterpiece along caliber movies like X-Men: Days of Future Past and Logan. Civil War is vastly superior to "Avengers: Age of Ultron". And, of course, it destroys Iron Man 3. Thor was turned into a parody by the time Thor 2, Thor 3 and Avengers 2 rolled out. I would say that all 4 Avengers movies gave Captain America a prominent role and a superb story-arc. I will miss Steve, definitely. --------------------------------------> THE EVIL DEAD DEFINITIVE TIMELINESince the "Ash vs Evil Dead" TV series changed the game forever, I conceived, elaborated and wrote a NEW "definitive" Evil Dead universe timeline rolling the 3 movies and the TV series into one single, cohesive "continuity". No more discrepancies or incongruences, I swear. Have a good read: evildeadarmyofdarkness.blogspot.it/p/thevil-dead-definitive-timeline.html Feedback is welcomed, of course. Thank you so much.

The Captain America films are probably my favourite trilogy, but Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3 are better than any of them in my opinion.

Yep. Iron Man 3 ruined Iron Man’s arc.

Haven't you heard though? Captain America is a tyrant who doesn't give a shit about the war. When he woke up 70 years in the future, his first question wasn't "Did we win the war?" His first thoughts were he had a date, thus proving he didn't give a shit about the war, but only do get girls. Also he was too lazy to exercise and train like the rest of the soldiers, so he to take super-PEDs to steal the rank of captain from another deserving soldier.
In Civil War he aided a murderer, rather than taking him to court and let the jury decide, he aids murderer Bucky Barnes by having flee from the law, endangering the lives of many.

That's double murderer, get it right at the bloody least for gawds sake man, you lose all credibility if you don't get all the facts right.
You also forgot about the sickening act of public fornication that took place between he and Peggy's niece in Civil War, I mean he BANGED her right out in public, utterly sickening.

Thor 2? Dark World? Pretty dry, wasn't it? Are you thinking Ragnarok?

Hindsight, it's a rather remarkable feat imo.
Iron Man was launched as a halo character/franchise, & remained so through The Avengers. Winter Soldier of course turned that page, while Iron Man 3 simply showed too much wear on IM's solo tread. Having said that, Iron Man is key to Age of Ultron & Civil War both, and of course IW & EG.
Chris Evans, castoff from Fantastic Four land, surely couldn't have been expected to become the emotional gravitational force of the IW saga. EG he's the main protagonist for me. That's kindof a crazy journey.

Hard to consider Civil War a solo feature, despite the title insisting it is. But yeah Cap definitely has the best trilogy within the MCU-- and I love Iron Man 3.

I enjoyed Cap's journey/story the most so I definitely agree with the OP.
