Shades of Marilyn ! , She is just so gorgeous in this retro spread . Sadly , in the Y Generation ,
and as in previous generations , humanity not only progresses but loses something at the same time .
She is right in saying she should be allowed to be anybody or anything in film , but in reality the
Politically Correct control the world (or think they do) and we have to listen , heed and believe .

Well, as I said in the previous post, she's only 34. Maybe when she's a little older, she'll have a change of perspective.
A lot of the outrage, as I understand it, was that talented trans actors are never given the opportunity to play any person, or any tree, or any animal that they might want because that opportunity is always being given to people like Scarlett. And if you wind the clock back a generation or so, when only white actors were allowed to be seen in tv shows, movies, and ads, it's apparent that this used to be even worse.

If she is talking about fictional characters who are female than i agree with her
If she is also talking about actually historical characters or people who still exist than i agree with her to a degree,
She should not be allowed to play male character not fictional or real/historical, Unless she is playing a woman who dressed up like a man pretending to be man,
But i agree 100% that she should be allowed to play any tree that she wants, I think she would be great as an Oak tree.
I also hope that she does not apologize for what she said and stick by it. And just ignore the hate she is going to get.
