One of the least interesting and least thrilling thrillers I have ever seen.

1492. Beautifully shot and has a damn good score, but I found it pretty dull.

Haven't seen anything he did after Robin Hood. What a waste.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned The Counselor. Cameron Diaz has sex with a car windshield.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned The Counselor. Cameron Diaz has sex with a car windshield. Wait. He directed that garbage? I never would have guessed.

So much early promise, and now a hack. Too many shockers to pick just one.

I've managed to avoid some of his more lowly-regarded films (G.I. Jane, A Good Year etc). Of those I've seen, Legend is bottom, followed by Prometheus and White Squall.
Regarding movieman's pick, I rather enjoyed Someone to Watch over Me back in the day, beautifully shot with a strong supporting role for Lorraine Bracco. I barely recall it after so many years, though.

That movie with bald Jennifer Connelly as the navy seal. I don't ever want to see those words together again.
But yeah, I haven't seen all of Scott's films. Right now I'd go with G.I. Jane, too.
