The first thing that popped in my mind is "Fever Pitch" - Arsenal in the English original, Red Sox in the American adaptation.
In "Ça sent la coupe" the main character is a fanatic fan of the Habs - but I doubt anyone else here has seen it.
Lister in "Red Dwarf" had posters of a zero-G football team in his room - I think it was a London team.
