Sounds like an interesting idea.  Don't get me wrong: I'm not interested in a movie that ends with James Bond retiring and a new female 007 taking over the series. From that synopsis, it seems like they have something else in mind.

But it's an old right-extreme Talking Point that pretends that anyone who objects to discriminatory conservative beliefs is stereotyping them. It is just another case (in a long line) of wingers blaming others for what THEY (conservatives) do.

I've been saying for ten trillion years that it doesn't matter who plays 007, not one bit. The important thing is the high octane action, the breathtaking scenery (which has been missing since Octopussy), the exotic locations, the wit, and the other Bond elements.
Maybe she'll get a real 007 script, with the great locations, instead of the stinkpot stuff we've gotten in the past half dozen or so 007 movies.
