Nancy Olson Born on July 14, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she's a woman who's had an interesting and enduring career, which began in 1948 and lasted until she retired in 2014 - 66 years! She received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her second film, Sunset Boulevard (1950).
I've always enjoyed her on screen, especially in the Disney films she made in the sixties, including Pollyanna (1960),
The Absent-Minded Professor (1961),
and The Sun of Flubber (1963).
Happy Birthday to Nancy Olson, always a joy to watch!

She shared a plane ride with Gloria Swanson some 24 years later in AIRPORT 75 - as if being in a disaster flic itself wasn't bad enough she had transplant hopeful Linda Blair for a sprog. Not a long CV but BATTLE CRY and MAKING LOVE were of interest.

She was great in "Submarine Command" with William Holden. Happy Birthday, Nancy!

Nancy plus Holden were a neat early 1950s couple. UNION STATION is a particular favorite.
