Sunday afternoons should feature short comedies from Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, and the Hal Roach Our Gang (not those unfunny MGM Our Gang shorts they occasionally show). Some of those Dogville comedies they used to show might be welcome, too.
How about a one-year moratorium on certain films that they seem to show about once a month--Lawrence of Arabia, Dr.Zhivago, etc.? These films have such long running times that they take up an entire evening, and the station could have shown two other relatively rarer films in that time slot. Devoted fans of those films probably have copies on DVD anyway, so they don't need to wait for a broadcast of them.

Less Steven Seagal (the UK TCM sure loves him!)

More Silents. Just Silent Sunday an an odd throwin occasionally.
The Essentials has gone to hell. I always thought of the Essentials as the place for the ultimate classics. Now I haven't heard of most of them. Harlan County USA is an Essential? ok.
And more classic movie documentaries. It would be nice to see Kevin Brownlow's Hollywood and Cinema Europe; the Other Hollywood.

Get rid of those damned moderators! Ben M. is OK, but the others, especially those women with the thick accents, appear to be just reading from teleprompters and actually know nothing about classic movies. Kinda like TV news broadcasters.
