Sad news. Just when i thought thor couldn't get worse. Yeah let's not have an acclaimed filmmaker who delivered the best received Thor film, the best visual replication of Jack Kirby's design style, who also played one of the more memorable characters of that movie return for a sequel. No matter how the movie turns out it will most likely be a better representation of the character than Jigsaw in season 2 of The Punisher, Iron Fist in both seasons, and whatever was The Inhumans series. Shitnerok was too corny and had too much humor. No Darcy

You can hate Thor: Ragnarok all you like but its the best received Thor movie by far and you're only creating the biggest contradiction ever by complaining about corniness and too much humor when you want Darcy back who WAS the comic relief of the first two movies.

This is great news. Interesting that of all the original Avengers Thor is the one to get a 4th film instead of the likes of Iron Man or Captain America. He has always been my favorite of the original team and Rognarok was awesome so I'm super excited. Curious to see who they tap to be the big bad since they used both Hela and Surtur in the last film. My guess would be either Enchantress or the Midgard Serpant. However I personally think Gorr could be really awesome on the big screen. Considering the events of Endgame, I'm not sure what the next Iron Man or Cap movie would be about. Two hours of peaceful music with a shot of Tony's tombstone? They could do a Forrest Gump thing with Cap; sitting on a bench telling someone his life story.

Shitnerok was too corny and had too much humor. No Darcy No it wasnt too corny, that was more Dark World, it was a fresh take on the character, which flies against it being corny, it wasn't obvious, I mean Hela kills almost all of her people, to stop her Thor destroys his planet, closest thing that came to it was Loki's face turn, you could say the overuse of humour but that's what made it fresh and surprising because they used humour in places the other films used romance, sorrow or hope.
Now too much humour is one thing did they over do it? imo a little, but then they atleast used humour for a reason in this film, you wanting Darcy in the film which is a comic relief character with no value, impact, meaning or purpose in the films other than to be the comic relief that if removed doesn't alter the movie at all well that's just fucking stupid.
Stupid is also your other post, Taika coming back wont make the franchise or character worse, it will keep it as it is, now had you moaned something like "oh great and here I was hoping we could get back to a more serious Thor which would be an improvement" then that's fine, what makes Ragnarok a "bad" film for most who feel that way, which btw is not the opinion of most people, is that Ragnarok is a massive departure from the previous Thor films and character, Thor reacts worse to a hair cut than he does having watched his mother, father and brother "die" in front of him, he breaks up with the woman he gave up the throne of Asguard for off camera and doesn't really care and is now a utter fool, ok fair enough, but now he's already that character carrying on with the goofy persona which most fans actually love Thor for having now doesn't make it worse, it makes it the same as it's been for the last 2 years, the biggest critiques of Ragnarok are it's a little too jokey for some which is a minor complaint, and that it doesn't feel like a natural progression of the character from the other films, but that's because that Thor didn't connect with people and Marvel were like ok Taika do what you want, tear it down and rebuild, if they did that again now to make Thor more serious again it should get the same complaint, this has nothing to do with the last few movies and his character has done a 180, which would devalue the brand and character by not having a consistent tone or approach, which would be doubly dumb as the character has now finally really connected with fans and the last films with this version of Thor have been the most successful films of the 2 series he appears in, meaning this Thor is most peoples Thor.
In short, you dumb dude, dumb diddly dumb dumb...dumb.

Wicked!
Taika Waititi also did this movie which I liked.
Discovered it at random on Netflix. Kid from Deadpool 2 is hilarious and Sam Neil's great.
Love that film. What We Do In The Shadows was also great.

Never read that. And it's hypocrisy that you're so quick to post the 1st appearance of Enchantress in Marvel vs DC. What was the 1st appearance of Thanos in Marvel? Was that before or after the 1st appearance of Darkseid in DC? You've just been owned!

Who in the blue hell is darkseid? Is he related to johnny apple seid? Darkseid is who Thanos is a copy of. Uh huh...they don't have the same name like those two Enchantresses though do they?
Will Darkseid become a pop-culture phenomenon generating nearly $5billion in two movies with RT scores in the 90s?

I wonder if the film version of Darkseid will be as compelling as Steppinshit from Justice League?

He was lame. He fought the entire Justice League and couldn't even get 1 billion stinking dollars. Fail.

I think not, it's simply informing an ignorant troll factual data to prevent said troll making the obvious and false claim that Marvel copied DC with the character, as for Thanos, his look is inspired by Darkseid which has been admitted, but he wasn't initially conceived to look like that, but the creator Jim Starlin was told to beef the character up physically and yes Darkseid was the inspiration for that beefing up, but acopy? Darkseid wants the anti-life equation so he can control all life, Thanos wants the infinity stones/gems because he wants to kill half the universe to preserve balance or to impress Death who he wants to fuck...oh yeah they are fucking identical.
Also for someone who doesn't know shit about anything but the most surface level comicbook characters you sure like to act like you are an authority on them, take my advice, if you want to pretend to be a knowitall stop admitting you don't know shit, that or stop stating ignorant opinions as facts and try to learn things you dummy.
