Which of these classic Japanese "ghost tales" from Kaneto Shindo do you prefer

Onibaba [1964]

Kuroneko [1968]

Tough. Both are stunning and Kuroneko might have a slight edge visually, but Onibaba is stronger narratively and I think holds together as the marginally better film overall.
