Guy I used to know, whose dad preached for an ultra-evangelical Protestant church, kept trying to get me baptised and join the church. We had to stop hanging out.
Plus various random people have come up to me in public over the years, tried to get me to join their cult - I must look like I need a lot of spiritual guidance.

Yeah, back around the mid-1990's when I was with my cousin as we used to walk (or take a couple of bicycles) from his house to a local place (maybe 2 miles or so away) to play arcades and I think it was on the way back as we walked down the street they talked a bit, we went through the motions to be polite, and that was that. I think it was Jehovah's Witnesses if I recall correctly.
p.s. but naturally, I won't be leaving the true church of Jesus Christ which is the Catholic church simply because He started the Catholic church where as others are started by man. the Catholic church has the whole truth where as others only have some of it but mixed in with error. hell, it appears Jehovah's witnesses deny that God is The Holy Trinity (i.e. Father/Son(Jesus Christ)/Holy Spirit)) which is a red flag as if they get that one wrong, it's not a stretch to say they got a lot of other important stuff wrong to.

No. One or two unwisely decided to come to my front door and knock on it. I'd place a chair in front of the security door, make myself comfortable and proceed to debate the existence of god with them. None of them ever returned for round two...
