Iggles have re-signed Darren Sproles. Look at this offense folks - it's deadly. Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, Darren Sproles, Wentzy, Agholor, Jeffery, D-Jax, Zach Ertz, Dallas ('Philly') Goedert…. … to go along with the 'Best Offensive Line in Football' according to Pro Football Focus. Who can stop us folks?

The New Orleans Saints, just like last year.

The New Orleans Saints, just like last year. Meh. This guy doesn't see it. Brees is 40 and that 2 headed monster of Kamara/Ingram is history with the departure of Ingram. I'm predicting 9-7 and you're fighting for a WC the last week of season

Didn't you make a similar poll about the phillies? That's not going too well is it? Slow yo roll bro. Anyway I've often been impressed with Sproles. I was hoping Atlanta would sign him the first time he was a free agent but he went to the NFLs charity case the loathsome saints instead. His old ass managed to hurt Atlanta last season but he didn't do too much after that game. He probably should have stayed retired but I'm glad he fleeced the eagles out of some more money.

I like to compare him to a crafty old Vet in the NBA who you give limited minutes to - to provide a spark, come into the game for instant offense, change of pace/momentum type player. Got to limit his playing time which they will do. I don't think you can use Sproles/D-Jax on every punt kickoff return - i.e. as they're getting older and needed in other areas at certain points of the game - i.e. RB and WR. However I salivate come either late game when they're down - and either D-Jax or Sproles are back there to try to pick up massive yardage to put them in good field position or possibly break one. Also come playoff time - they may not be used during the regular season that much for punt / kickoff returns - but the playoffs is a different animal and expect one or the other (or both) back there as it's do or die. I always enjoyed the 'Dave Meggetts / Brian Westbrooks / Darren Sproles' of the world - like little waterbugs dancing back there you can't catch or get your hands on and breaking defenders ankles. As far as the Phils - I'm quite the happy camper. It's July 20th and we're .001 ppts behind the 2nd wild card team ready to strike - we also just inked veteran lefty Drew Smyly - here we come baby!

Watching ESPN right now and they're 'Power Rankings' for the season: Top 3 - 1. Colts 2. Pats 3. Eagles Know what that means folks? We're representing the NFC in the Bowl. I'd actually love to see Luck bring the Colts to the Bowl - be quite a story if it was Frank Reich vs. Doug Pederson.

Falcons took O Line with their first 2 draft picks and already had spent money on solid veteran free agent OL. I think I'll put a stack on Matty Ice for MVP.

We took an O-Lineman in the first round too. Andre Dillard. Plan is to groom him and he'll eventually place legend Jason Peters on the O-Line once he retires. Peters is getting up there in age - always seems to have nagging injury problems and at times looks like 2/3 of the player he once was - which is too be expected. For the past 3 seasons - I've always expected that to be his last season - but he keeps plugging away (while still getting nagging injuries) Just hoping he doesn't go down the 1st couple of weeks of the season and this kid is thrown to the wolves. Hoping maybe by late November/December he'll be able to be a contributor learning from Peters throughout the year during practice and on the sidelines.

Yeah, both of the Falcons 1st round draft picks are expected to start at right guard and right tackle. The Falcons should have a spectacular offense if everyone stays healthy, it’s the defense that is a concern, especially the pass rush and the CB position.

I like our D-Line - but I'm not liking the CB, S and LB situation - pretty much just like every year since Dawkins left - I go into panic mode over our secondary.
