I know that it's not possible in any way, shape, capacity, or form at all with what the MCU People are planning to do but still, I would love for them to somehow still be able to bring back both Hugh Jackman (as "Wolverine") and Rebecca Romijn (as "Mystique") when they do their New Version of "X-MEN".

Isn't it obvious? The X-Men will no longer be the default orientation for mutants in the MCU. He said, "mutants," not X-Men, that's very telling.

If you're thinking of Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, etc. solo movies, I don't think they'd go down that road. I think they plan on introducing the concept of mutants before the X-Men themselves. The X-men need a long rest.
