Shark Week 2019. Any Sports Fisherman here? Is Shark Week the greatest week of the year? If not - what is? Week of / Leading up -NFL Conference Championships and the games? Opening weekend of March Madness? Week of / Leading up to Super Bowl and the actual game? Opening week of the MLB playoffs? Final games of the World Series? Final games of the NBA/NHL Championship Series? Closing week leading up the College Championship Playoff and the Playoffs themselves?

The greatest sports week of the year is the first four days of the NCAA tournament. Next I'd say rivalry week (traditionally the final regular season game but not always anymore) in college football.

NFL divisional playoffs - the pretenders and riffraff like the Bengals and Texans of the world have been disposed of in the wild card round, now there's only heavyweights left.

They're two of my favorites you mentioned that I always get geared up for. To add holidays in there - I love Halloween Week, Thanksgiving Week, and Christmas Week - However - they all pale in comparison to Shark Week. So....no.....

Would your head explode if Cowherd covered Shark Week? Brilliant. That's like putting Caramel on Coffee Ice Cream. I'm very disappointed in Natgeo (The National Geographic Channel). Seems as if they're ripped off Discovery and have come out with like 3 weeks of 'Shark Fest' Gotta admit - some of the episodes were quite good though. Sharks in the summer is a must.

Rutger Hauer is turning in his grave already βΉοΈ I can't recall any movies I ever saw him in. Wasn't he in remake of Salem's Lot though with Rob Lowe? I saw that one.

Any and every week of football is the best week of the year. If there is a god and he/she considers me good, I'll die in February. The worst week of football season is better than the best week on the non-football schedule. Getting through June and July is fucking ponderous.

The best sports week of the year is probably in October when you have NFL, college football and MLB playoffs all going on at the same time, itβs awesome.
