I think all the people who complain about having it bad have never done an intense manual labor job and that's where women do need to understand this whole they can do anything a guy does. I've never seen a woman at an intense manual labor job I've seen them at easy labor jobs like in a warehouse or something or an office but never something that's like a killer on your body. We have to show respect for men who do these kind of jobs for years

I believe I'd have a very good chance of giving a man my size (not that I've ever really known any that small) a run for his money.
I have no interest in a manual labor job, but I appreciate what those who perform them endure.

My biggest gripe is how slow Time goes by. I will have forever respect for people who do that for a long time. People who work in factories and plants really don't get enough respect. Instead people idolize people who make a living spending all their Time online.

Its hot as Hell down here in the summer. Just like it is cold up north in the winter.

That will be the point when intense labor will cease to be necessary. Everybody will be on the dole, but some people will still want to enjoy intense manual labor (including me, whether or not I still have the physical strength).

That's all I have ever done. And office workers and college graduates don't understand when I say how tired, exhausted, sore and sick I am. My hat off to you, Sir. Because I could never do what you are doing. Everybody is different. Everybody is good at different things. Being I have extreme ADHD, I can't sit still and concentrate for long periods of time. So school and office work were not a good fit. Working outside was easy and enjoyable in my teens and twenties. But in my thirties it started getting hard. And 40s and on it's all about survival. Thanks for your appreciation. Like they always say, "Its a hard job, but somebody's got to do it".

Almost. This has got to be the subject of a sci-fi novel out there somewhere.

Many movies and TV shows have had this topic. Most recently The Orville (TV show) and I Am Mother (movie).

I never did it as a career, but there were periods that would qualify. I know where you're coming from, movieliker. I'm in Florida on the same latitude as you.
For a few years in the 70s I worked at a wholesale produce company. We assembled orders and unloaded trucks much of the day. Sometimes we went to the trainyard and unloaded boxcars full of potatoes. Those boxcars are bigger than they look on tv.
In the 90s I worked for a guy who owned a concession business. During the week we delivered and retrieved concession trailers to/from festival sites (no air-conditioning in the truck). On the weekends we pushed coke tanks and hundreds of pounds of ice on hand-trucks to the beer and soda stands. I drank lots of cold water and rested in the shade.
