Why should we be listening to any of them? Do you honestly respect Whoopi's and Joy's opinion? I certainly don't. :yes: One's a bitter shrew and the other is a loudmouthed blowhard who thinks certain rape cases aren't the same as "rape rape". Hardly geniuses.

I try never to miss the opening of the show because their hot topics have a political bent. Whoopi, Sonny, and Joy are smart and informed. Their commentary makes The View far more substantive than the typical talk show. Kind of one-sided and with no caution toward their life style,i.e.,liberal? What about the conservatives, sad that Candace Cameron Bure left,though she does have Fuller House.

She struck me as an odd choice, but I know little about her. Was she politically astute?

I wouldn't characterize Candace as being astute about anything. She is a follower of the Christian faith and does what she is told. Nothing wrong in being a Christian IMO but she takes it to an extreme and not a good thing when having a conversation on a national talk show.
