Not sure if I'd really consider him "human".

Not sure if I'd really consider him "human". I can understand your point but I really think that their is room to argue that he is in a way.

I think some of you are missing what I'm looking for here and are just listing cinema's greatest villians. I probably should have been more clear so I'll shoulder the blame here. Not to say that some of the choices listed aren't intimidating, menacing, scary, etc. But Brian Thompson from Cobra holding a knife to your face is much scarier in my opinion than Roman Polanski from Chinatown. Having Gary Oldman from Air Force One yell threats in your face would be more menacing than just having Jack Nicholson from The Shining do it. These are villians that have a steely intense look in their eyes and feel like they a bomb that's about to go off in your face if you don't get away from them or if you further upset them.

Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service was pretty darn dangerous with those darn blade legs that she had.

I didn't get around to watching that up until a couple years ago and OMG! That is such a good movie and she plays the unhinged psycho fan with perfection. Edge of your seat, my man.
