A body is found in the mountains, straddled across the German/Austria border.. One half in Germany and the other in Austria. Sound familiar? It's called Der Pass Which makes a change from The Bridge/The Tunnel
Two cops are assigned the case. The German is an attractive, smart, keen blond The other is a disillusioned, cynical, dishevelled overweight, alcoholic Austrian, newly arrived at his new post and who, it is suggested? may be/may have been bent. He quickly agrees to let her have the case. He isn't hostile, just reluctant and is helpful only when his arm is twisted. In keeping with other Northern European shows I've watched recently, there is a forest which has a "TREE" with a bit cut out of it. and in spite of the fact that it is one of several million trees in this forest, it is easily stumbled upon by the cops. There is also an East European gang of traffickers involved, of whom the victim was a member and as we discover, he has left an tape on which he admits his crimes and gets a bit gloomy with an "The end is nigh" message I've only seen one episode but it is watchable and intriguing and the two leads look like a match made in a very dark room.

That reads like an Alan Partridge pitch to Tony Hayers in the BBC restaurant!
Is Dark season 2 on Netflix yet? That was a great German show.

One feature of Dark 2, aka Darker, is that inevitably, everyone in the village finds out about the Time Machine... and how to use it.

Anybody (I'm assuming everybody - excuse my ignorance I'm from the States) ever hear of the crime drama 'Luther' which I guess aired on the BBC.
Was highly recommended to me last week and thinking about giving it a watch.

It is a classic, Jep. Made stars of Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson.

Was highly recommended to me last week and thinking about giving it a watch. I’ve seen all episodes. The law of diminishing returns is very much in evidence. First couple of series worth a watch but repeats itself after that.

I no longer have Netflix anyway.
