he had such a bright Legacy but the very end of it they estimate because of his suicide in the next 4 months 1800 hundred people who grew up watching his movies led by his example and killed themselves.

You mean followed his example. Anyway yeah, let's see how many deaths we can blame on Robin Williams. It's all his fault. Is there a study on how many people died pretending they were genies after watching Aladdin?

Is there a study on how many people died pretending they were genies after watching Aladdin? it's not about blame it's just an interesting statistic how influential he was. and it is a known fact that suicides go up after celebrity suicides we can't bury our heads in the sand and pretend it isn't real there's a lot of facts that indicate it.

You didn't answer my question though. Is there a study on how many people died pretending they were genies after watching Aladdin?

How many people swallowed a Tide Pod because they saw somebody do it on YouTube? It's like that old question parents (back when parents were responsible adults who felt obligated to give their kids guidance) used to ask their kids: " If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it, too?" Too often, the answer is "yes."

Anyone who'd kill themselves because of Robin Williams must have been severely mentally ill in the first place and probably would have done it anyway.

I don’t know how it is in the rest of the world - and I don’t know how many of you are actually American as I am - but I recently stumbled across some data on the topic of mental illness and it’s terrifying.
Seriously, forget the rest of the stuff that we think is a problem in America at this point and focus on mental health. It’s an epidemic that’s slowly squeezing the life out of the entire nation.
Super scary stuff that is only getting worse.

Is there a study on how many people died pretending they were genies after watching Aladdin? Yeah, how did they prove his suicide was an influence on all those other ones? By giving him a shout out in their suicide notes? "Hang on Robin! I'm gonna see you soon! Nanoo-nanoo."

And another 10% after Jack (1996).

If someone was that mentally ill then the chances are that if Robin Williams didn't trigger them then something else would have. Plenty of DCU fans wanted to kill themselves after watching BvS but most of them waited until they had seen Justice League. It's mainly a question of timimg.
