Not sure. Over my lifetime my "favorite" pie has changed. As a kid it was apple pie, chocolate cream pie. Later it was pumpkin pie, pecan pie without the pecans (I've heard the non-pecan version called a couple of different things). For a while in my late it was lemon meringue and key-lime. OH and there is banana cream pie. For each type it depends on several factors homemade is usually preferred. The style of the crust has a lot to do with it what it is made from, thickness, consistency, not burned or over baked, or under baked.
