The Sino-Dutch War 1661 (2001). Terribly silly Taiwanese propaganda but cool battle scenes.

The Bad Girls from Valley High (2004)
This film is based off of the book, "A Fate Totally Worse Than Death". It's about three wealthy high school girls who hold a dark secret that ultimately comes back to haunt them but in a very strange way. This film is basically Mean Girls meet Creepshow (when it comes to the horror elements) with a pinch of dark slapstick comedy.

Well looking at IMDb to filter things based on total votes, here are my top movies with fewer than 30,000 votes...
1)Men, Women & Children (2014) (28,332 votes) - 7.5-8/10 -)Two Mules for Sister Sara (1970) (21,556 votes) 3)At Middleton (2013) (7,174 votes) - 7-7.5/10 4)The Artist and the Model (2012) (1,478 votes)
5)Good Kill (2014-2015) (21,200 votes) - 7/10 -)He Was a Quiet Man (2007) (21,364 votes) (Christian Slater gives a good performance) -)Priceless (2006) (29,239 votes) (much better than Amelie (2001) (2/10) which features the same lead actress) -)Rolling Thunder (1977) (6,708 votes) -)Hard Times (1975) (8,453 votes) -)The Last Detail (1973) (20,057 votes) (my 2nd favorite Jack Nicholson movie behind The Departed (2006)) -)The Song of Bernadette (1943) (5,538 votes)
Honorable Mentions...
12)In a Valley of Violence (2016) (13,471 votes) - 6-6.5/10 --)Venus in Fur (2013) (16,032 votes) --)Dom Hemingway (2013) (24,635 votes) --)Miss Bala (2011) (8,158 votes) --)Interview (2007) (12,927 votes) --)Anthony Zimmer (2005) (7,378 votes)
p.s. if you want to count a directors cut of a movie that has it's own special page... "Payback: Straight Up (2006 Video)" (4,710 votes). but it's basically Payback (1999) but with a entirely different ending etc. the main Payback (1999) page has 125,000+ votes.

健忘村 Probably seen by quite a few people in China and Taiwan, but few in the United States. Only 666 people have rated it on IMDb. A quirky comedy. www.imdb.com/title/tt6461526/

Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale (2012)
Epic war film from Taiwan about the early 20th century Japanese occupation. There are striking parallels between this historical event and the treatment of American indigenous people. It's a lengthy, violent film, but it moves along well enough. Beautiful cinematography.
