OK, well, it would take a little imagination to do so, but everyone knows a song that could be made into a movie, right?
Here's one I think would work.
Gallo Del Cielo (Rooster From Heaven)
Tom Russell - Gallo Del Cielo
Carlos Zaragoza left his home in Casas Grandes when the moon was full
No money in his pocket, just a locket of his sister framed in gold
He rode into El Sueco, stole a rooster called "Gallo del Cielo"
Then he crossed the Rio Grande with that rooster nestled deep beneath his arm
Well, Gallo del Cielo was a warrior born in heaven, so the legends say
His wings they had been broken, he had one eye rollin' crazy in his head
And He'd fought a hundred fights, but the legends say that one night near El Sueco
They'd fought Cielo seven times and seven times he'd left brave roosters dead
Hola, my Theresa, I am thinking of you now in San Antonio
I have 27 dollars and the good luck of your picture framed in gold
Tonight I'll put it all on the fighting spurs of Gallo del Cielo
And Then I'll return to buy the land that Villa stole from father long ago
Outside of San Diego in the onion fields of Paco Monteverde
The Pride of San Diego lay sleeping on his fancy bed of silk
And they laughed when Zaragoza pulled the one-eyed del Cielo from beneath his coat
But they cried when Zaragoza walked away with a thousand dollar bill
Hola, my Theresa, I am thinking of you now in Santa Barbara
I have fifteen hundred dollars and the good luck of your picture framed in gold
Tonight I'll put it all on the fighting spurs of Gallo del Cielo
And then I'll return to buy the land that Villa stole from father long ago
Now the moon has gone to hiding and the lantern light spills shadows on the fighting sand
Where a wicked black named Zorro faces Gallo del Cielo in the night
But Carlos Zaragoza fears the tiny crack that runs across his rooster's beak
And he fears he has lost the fifty thousand dollars riding on the fight
Hola, my Theresa, I am thinking of you now in Santa Clara
Yes, the money's on the table, I'm holding to your good luck framed in gold
And everything we dreamed of is riding on spurs of del Cielo
I pray that I'll return to buy the land that Villa stole from father long ago
Then the signal it was given, and the roosters rose together far above the sand
Then Gallo del Cielo sunk a gaff into Zorro's shiny breast
They were separated quickly but they rose and fought each other thirty seven times
And the legends say that everyone agreed del Cielo fought the best
Then the screams of Zaragoza filled the night outside the town of Santa Clara
As the beak of del Cielo lay broken like a shell within his hand
And they say that Zaragoza screamed a curse upon the bones of Pancho Villa
When Zorro rose up one last time and drove del Cielo to the sand
Hola, my Theresa, I am thinking of you now in San Francisco
There is no money in my pocket, I no longer have your good luck framed in gold
I buried it last evening with the bones of my beloved del Cielo
And I'll not return to buy the land that Villa stole from father long ago
Do the rivers still run muddy outside of my beloved Casas Grandes?
And does the scar upon my brother's face turn red when he hears mention of my name?
Do the people of El Sueco curse the theft of Gallo del Cielo?
Well tell my family not to worry, I will not return to cause them shame
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, it's long enough, right?

I've long thought that King Diamond's concept album " Abigail" would make a great horror movie.

A few from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Murder Ballads" especially
"O’Malley’s Bar" would make a great short full of carnage
I am tall and I am thin Of an enviable hight And I've been known to be quite handsome In a certain angle and in certain light Well I entered into O'Malley's Said, "O'Malley I have a thirst" O'Malley merely smiled at me Said "You wouldn't be the first" I knocked on the bar and pointed To a bottle on the shelf And as O'Malley poured me out a drink I sniffed and crossed myself My hand decided that the time was nigh And for a moment it slipped from view And when it returned, it fairly burned With confidence anew Well the thunder from my steely fist Made all the glasses jangle When I shot him, I was so handsome It was the light, it was the angle "Neighbours!" I cried, "Friends!" I screamed I banged my fist upon the bar "I bear no grudge against you!" And my dick felt long and hard "I am the man for which no God waits But for which the whole world yearns I'm marked by darkness and by blood And one thousand powder-burns" Well, you know those fish with the swollen lips That clean the ocean floor When I looked at poor O'Malley's wife That's exactly what I saw I jammed the barrel under her chin And her face looked raw and vicious Her head it landed in the sink With all the dirty dishes Her little daughter Siobhan Pulled beers from dusk till dawn And amongst the townfolk she was a bit of a joke But she pulled the best beer in town I swooped magnificent upon her As she sat shivering in her grief Like the Madonna painted on the church-house wall In whale's blood and banana leaf Her throat it crumbled in my fist And I spun heroically around To see Caffrey rising from his seat I shot that mother fucker down "I have no free will", I sang As I flew about the murder Mrs. Richard Holmes, she screamed You really should have heard her I sang and I laughed, I howled and I wept I panted like a pup I blew a hole in Mrs. Richard Holmes And her husband stupidly stood up As he screamed, "You are an evil man" And I paused a while to wonder "If I have no free will then how can I Be morally culpable, I wonder" I shot Richard Holmes in the stomach And gingerly he sat down And he whispered weirdly, "No offense" And then lay upon the ground "None taken", I replied to him To which he gave a little cough With blazing wings I neatly aimed And blew his head completely off I've lived in this town for thirty years And to no-one I am a stranger And I put new bullets in my gun Chamber upon chamber And I turned my gun on the bird-like Mr. Brookes I thought of Saint Francis and his sparrows And as I shot down the youthful Richardson It was St. Sebastian I thought of, and his arrows I said, "I want to introduce myself And I am glad that all you came" And I leapt upon the bar And shouted out my name Well Jerry Bellows, he hugged his stool Closed his eyes and shrugged and laughed And with an ashtray as big as a fucking really big brick I split his head in half His blood spilled across the bar Like a steaming scarlet brook And I knelt at it's edge on the counter Wiped the tears away and looked Well, the light in there was blinding Full of God and ghosts of truth I smiled at Henry Davenport Who made no attempt to move Well, from the position I was standing The strangest thing I ever saw The bullet entered through the top of his chest And blew his bowels out on the floor Well I floated down the counter Showing no remorse I shot a hole in Kathleen Carpenter Recently divorced But remorse i felt and remorse I had It clung to every thing From the raven's hair upon my head To the feathers on my wings Remorse sqeezed my hand in it's fradulent claw With it's golden hairless chest And I glided through the bodies And killed the fat man Vincent West Who sat quietly in his chair A man become a child And I raised the gun up to his head Executioner-style He made no attempt to resist So fat and dull and lazy "Did you know I lived in your street?" I said And he looked at me as though I were crazy "O", he said, "I had no idea" And he grew as quiet as a mouse And the roar of the pistol when it went off Near blew that hat right off the house Well, I caught my eye in the mirror And gave it a long and loving inspection "There stands some kind of man", I roared And there did, in the reflection My hair combed back like a raven's wing My muscles hard and tight And curling from the business end of my gun Was a query-mark of cordite Well I spun to the left, I spun to the right And I spun to the left again "Fear me! Fear me! Fear me!" But no one did cause they were dead And then there were the police sirens wailing And a bull-horn squelched and blared "Drop your weapons and come out With your hands held in the air" Well, I checked the chamber of my gun Saw I had one final bullet left My hand, it looked almost human As I raised it to my head "Drop your weapon and come out! Keep your hands above your head!" I had one one long hard think about dying And did exactly what they said There must have been fifty cops out there In a circle around O'Malley's bar "Don't shoot", I cried, "I'm a man unarmed!" So they put me in their car And they sped me away from that terrible scene And I glanced out of the window Saw O'Malley's bar, saw the cops and the cars And I started counting on my fingers Ah one, ah two, ah three, ah four O'Malley's bar, O'Malley's bar
"The Curse Of Millhaven" could make a full length feature.
I live in a town called Millhaven, And it's small and it's mean and it's cold, But if you come around just as the sun goes down You can watch the whole thing turn to gold It's around then that I used to go a-roaming La la-la-la, la la-la-lie All God's children, they all gotta die! My name is Loretta but I prefer Lottie I'm closing in on my fifteenth year And if you think that you've seen a pair of eyes more green Then you sure haven't seen them around here My hair is yellow and I'm always a-combing La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Mama oft' told me that we all got to die! You must have heard about the Curse of Millhaven, How last Christmas Bill Blake's little boy didn't come home They found him the next week, up in One Mile creek With his head bashed in and his pockets full of stones Well, just imagine all the wailing and moaning La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Even Bill Blake's boy, he had to die! Then Professor O'Rye, from Millhaven High Found nailed to his door his prize-winning terrier Then next day the old fool brought little Biko to school And we all had to watch as he buried her Well his eulogy to Biko had all the tears a-flowing La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Even God's little creatures, they have to die! Our little town fell into a state of shock A lot of people were saying things that made little sense Then the next thing you know the head of Handyman Joe Was found in the fountain of the Mayor's residence Foul play can really get a small town going La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Even God's children, they have to die! In a cruel twist of fate, old Mrs. Colgate Was stabbed but the job was not complete Well, the last thing she said before the cops pronounced her dead Was, "My killer is Loretta and she lives across the street!" Twenty cops burst through my door without even phoning La la-la-la, la la-la-lie The young ones, the old ones, they all got to die! Yes, it is I, Lottie, the Curse of Millhaven I've struck horror in the heart of this town Like my eyes ain't green and my hair ain't yellow — It's more like the other way around I gotta pretty little mouth underneath all the foaming La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Sooner or later we all gotta die! Since I was no bigger than a weevil they've been saying I was evil That if "bad" was a boot that I'd fit it That I'm a wicked young lady, but I've been trying hard lately O fuck it! I'm a monster! I admit it! It makes me so mad that my blood really starts a-going La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Mama always told me that we all gotta die! Yeah, I drowned the Baley kid, stabbed Mrs. Colgate, I admit Did the handyman with his circular saw in his garden shed But I never crucified little Biko, That was two junior high school psychos Stinky Bohoon and his friend with the pumpkin-sized head I'll sing to the lot, now that you got me going La la-la-la, la la-la-lie All God's children have all gotta die! There were all the others, all our sisters and brothers You assumed were accidents, best forgotten Recall the children who broke through the ice on Lake Tahoo? Everyone assumed the "Warning" signs Had followed them to the bottom Well, they're underneath the house where I do quite a bit of stowing La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Even twenty little children, they had to die! And the fire of '91 that razed the Bella Vista slum There was the biggest shit-fight this country's ever seen Insurance companies ruined, land lords getting sued All cause of a wee girl with a can of gasoline Those flames really roared when the wind started blowing! La la-la-la, la la-la-lie The rich men, and the poor men, they all got to die! Well, I confessed to all these crimes and they put me on trial I was laughing when they took me away Off to the asylum in an old black Mariah Well it ain't home, but you know, it's better than jail It ain't such bad old place to have a home in La la-la-la, la la-la-lie All God's children they all gotta die! Now I got shrinks that will not rest With their endless Rorschach tests I keep telling them that I think they're out to get me They ask me if I feel remorse and I answer, "Why of course! There is so much more I could have done if they'd let me!" So it's Rorschach and Prozac and everything is groovy La la-la-la, la la-la-lie All God's children they all have to die La la-la-la, la la-la-lie I'm happy as a lark now and everything is fine La la-la-la, la la-la-lie Yeah, everything is groovy, everything is fine La la-la-la, la la-la-lie All God's children they gotta die

Also from Murder Ballads, a song whose killer I could never decide on. Is it the narrator or someone else? It'd make a dark murder mystery. SONG OF JOY sostie

A loyal WWII Russian soldier's unit is overrun and bypassed in 1941. He slips into the woods and becomes a partisan. Three years later as the army returns, he rejoins them for the final push to Berlin. After the war ends he's happy to be returning home, but because he was once captured for a day, the KGB instead sends him to a Siberian re-education camp.
Roads to Moscow by Al Stewart
They crossed over the border the hour before dawn moving in lines through the day Most of our planes were destroyed on the ground where they lay Waiting for orders we held in the wood Word from the front never came By evening the sound of the gunfire was miles away
I softly move through the shadows, slip away through the trees Crossing their lines in the mist in the fields on our hands and our knees
And all that I ever Was able to see The fire in the air, glowing red Silhouetting the smoke on the breeze
All Summer they drove us back through the Ukraine Smolensk and Vyazma soon fell By Autumn we stood with our backs to the town of Orel Closer and closer to Moscow they come Riding the wind like a bell General Guderian stands at the crest of the hill
Winter brought with the rains, oceans of mud filled the roads Glueing the tracks of their tanks to the ground, while the skies filled with snow
And all that I ever Was able to see The fire in the air, glowing red Silhouetting the snow on the breeze
In the footsteps of Napoleon, the shadow figures stagger through the winter Falling back before the gates of Moscow, standing in the wings like an avenger And far away behind their lines, the partisans are stirring in the forest Coming unexpectedly upon their outpost, growing like a promise You'll never know, you'll never know, which way to turn, which way to look you'll never see us As we steal into the blackness of the night you'll never know, you'll never hear us
And evening sings in a voice of amber, the dawn is surely coming The morning road leads to Stalingrad, and the sky is softly humming
Two broken Tigers on fire in the night Flicker their souls to the wind We wait in the lines for the final approach to begin It's been almost four years that I've carried a gun At home, it will almost be Spring The flames of the Tigers are lighting the road to Berlin
I quickly move through the ruins that bow to the ground The old men and children they send out to face us, they can't slow us down
And all that I ever Was able to see The eyes of the city are opening Now it's the end of a dream
I'm coming home, I'm coming home, now you can taste it in the wind the war is over And I listen to the clicking of the train wheels as we roll across the border And now they ask about the time that i was caught behind their time and taken prisoner They only held me for a day, a lucky break I say They turn and listen closer I'll never know, I'll never know, why I was taken from the line with all the others To board a special train and journey deep into the heart of holy Russia
And it's cold and damp in the transit camp and the air is still and sullen and the pale sun of October whispers the snow will soon be coming And I wonder when, I'll be home again and the morning answers never And the evening sighs and the steely, Russian skies go on, forever.
