boundingintocomics.com/2019/08/05/marvels-thor-love-and-thunder-director-taika-waititi-trolls-thor-fans-ill-ruin-your-mythos-in-a-minute-baby/"Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi took to Twitter to troll fans who don’t like what they are seeing and hearing concerning the upcoming Thor film. Waititi trolled a number of fans who expressed their concern regarding the film. In one reply he told a fan, “I’ll ruin your mythos in a minute, baby.” In a response to another fan, who expressed his concern regarding Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok and “too much comedy,” Waiti responded, “Sorry in advance, suckaaaaaaa.” Waititi would respond to another fan who stated, “There isn’t a single announcement regarding this movie that I’ve liked.” Waititi wrote, “There. there. You’ll get over it when you realise you don’t know what you want until I give it to you.”

So he shall be the new director considered a petty asshole because he doesn't have patience for misogynistic fanboys who bitch at him 24/7.

Yeah, I bet he was really kicking himself over What We Do in the Shadows and Thor Ragnarok.

Will somebody please remind him what happed to Josh Trank and Rian Johnson? He's got the requisite privilege qualifications which it seems neither Trank or Johnson have--and no it's not the Maori side.

I thought I was the only one who found him annoyingly arrogant.
Nice to know I have some company on this site.

I remember a time when movies used to come out and people used to just go watch them and that was the end. this whole talking to directors on Twitter and complaining about everything people just need to relax.

I call cultural appropriation. A director of a film that deals directly with Norse mythology should be of suitable Scandinavian blood.

Will somebody please remind him what happed to Josh Trank and Rian Johnson? Trank made a bomb, Taika didn't. And Rian Johnson's move was a blockbuster.

I was being being sarcastic and poking fun at the fact that these directors think everyone in the world owes them reverence and loves everything about them.

I'm sympathetic to the fans who felt the humor undermined the seriousness of Thor: Ragnarok. Sure, the movie was hilarious and made me appreciate Thor on a greater level, but still I want some of the seriousness and emotional weight that the first film had.

I've never been much of a fan of Thor to begin with, but the whole female Thor thing seems real risky. I kinda feel bad for Chris Hemsworth. He seems pretty dedicated to the character and Marvel and it seems like they are pushing him aside for the female version of his character.

Given that he directed the only good Thor movie, I'm definitely gonna give this guy the benefit of the doubt.
