And has anyone noticed that all these people seem to die in alphabetical order?
Coincidence?

Edd Byrnes was a cultural icon and I'm sad to see him go. Kookie was the inspiration for comic book characters Snapper Carr (Justice League of America mascot) and Rick Jones (originally a pal of Bruce Banner - The Hulk). At least I think he was the inspiration. Kookie's curious jargon inspired America's youth to imitate speech patterns and sound ridiculous in the process. Kookie was 77 Sunset Strip. The show would have been nothing without him just as Adventures of Superman would have been nothing without Jack Larson/Jimmy Olsen. It was thanks to Edd Byrnes that the world got to see 77 Sunset Strip and a glut of private eye ripoff shows. Goodbye Kookie, we'll miss you. Sue Randall and "Kookie", 1964
