1. Pulp Fiction 2. Kill Bill Vol. 1 3. Inglorious Basterds 4. Kill Bill Vol. 2 5. Reservoir Dogs 6. The Hateful Eight 7. Jackie Brown 8. Django Unchained 9. Death Proof 10. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Nothing has matched my love or rewatchability of pulp fiction. It’s in my top 5 all time. I love Kill Bill all around but prefer the violence and mayhem of the first to the slower pace of the ending, with the exception of Budd who was my favorite character in the film. Inglorious Basterds just works on each level and has the best scene QT has ever done in the opening. RD is classic. Hateful Eight has risen with each rewatch. I still think it’d have been better without the clunky nonsensical mystery aspect. Jackie Brown is kind of just standard, but very enjoyable. Django I find a little long in the tooth for many rewatches. The pacing is a little too slow at times and the segments too broken. Death Proof, love the first half hate the second. Had big pacing issues of OUATIH...hated the overuse of pointless driving sequences and long walks throughout, along with the lack of a tightened storyline left me rather disappointed... ...I’m actually eager to rewatch Once Upon a time to see if it grows on me. The more I thought about it the more I realize I almost always enjoy his films more on a rewatch.

Ha funny how Pulp Fiction is near the top. Oh the agony of doing your best work when you are young. Spielberg seems to have the same curse
Duel-Jaws tend to rank highest.

Fully directed movies only (which means ten movies MAX (assuming we start from Reservoir Dogs (1992)))... 1)Django Unchained (2012) - 7.5-8/10 2)Pulp Fiction (1994) - 7/10 3)Kill Bill Vol 2 (2004) - 6.5-7/10 4)The Hateful Eight (2015) 5)Kill Bill Vol 1 (2003) - 6/10 6)Reservoir Dogs (1992) 7)Jackie Brown (1997) - 5/10 (Thumbs Down) 8)Inglourious Basterds (2009) - 4/10 (below average) 9)Death Proof (2007) - 3/10 (failure) NOTE: about Pulp Fiction... the Bruce Willis sections bring the overall movie down as the Sam Jackson scenes are top notch basically. because on a recent viewing in July 2019 I can tell my overall interest in the movie has taken a hit as it was a 9/10 and is now a 7/10. still, it's among my favorite movies, but it's just not top notch like it once was overall. p.s. I have not seen Once Upon a Time in Hollywood yet but I think it's got a good chance for a 7/10 or higher. so in other words... this has a good chance at making my Top 5 QT movies.
on a side note... I don't get what people see in True Romance (1993) as it's a pretty average movie as that directors (Tony Scott) best movie is... The Last Boy Scout (1991) (8/10), but even that aside he's got a fair amount of movies that top True Romance.

Yeah, I love how it features quite a few stars even if they have small roles. If I didn't know Tony Scott directed it, I would think it was QT. It's probably time for me to watch it again.

Interesting. I think that movie reeks of Tony Scott from a visual standpoint.

Fair enough. I may not have seen enough of Scott's films to identify his style.

I am a big fan of his style, so that might be why I notice it more.
