If it works out or not will be told when their shows are on air. Abrams made even a 500 million deal...can be that I mess up these numbers. www.nytimes.com/2019/06/17/business/media/jj-abrams-warnermedia.htmlNetflix, Disney and Co. are still throwing money at these bane of franchises. Maybe they are even right - in term of financial success. In the long term Disney and Co. might even achieve total victory. What I'm talking about? When a TV show about lifestyle etc. pp. is testing orange juice on a public street or market place: freshly pressed vs. industrial processed one, the latter one will win the blind testing. What seems paradox is just that the majority of the people is grown up with the industrial stuff from the large retailers, and fresh stuff does not taste how they expect orange juice has to taste (too bitter, not as sweet, maybe with some pulp *shutters etc.pp.). They are used to the industrial processed food: its taste, its look, its consistency and structure etc. pp. (no pulp, clean sweet stuff) . If the next generation grows up with the SJW/#metoo-crap, they will consider it as normal and right and genuine.

Must be nice to churn out a garbage ending to an epic series and get a fat $200MM reward as a consequence.
Ah Fortuna, thou spinnest us downward & downward...
