It's one thing to be passionate, excitable, even a bit controversial. Hell, Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe used to berate umpires all the time....but they weren't petulant twats about it. They weren't sore losers, and they weren't ungrateful, arrogant maggots who were convinced that their shit doesn't stink. This guy just doesn't get it and that's why, before long, he'll be nothing more than a footnote in the annals of tennis lore.

Well summed up. The other fellow must've done well to win with all that going on. Don't watch tennis myself but this sap is always popping up somewhere. Looking at that, he must be the biggest attention whore in sport. What is wrong with him?

Appalling behavior in front of little kids.
He signed autographs after the match - there were a ton of kids in the crowd.
One can easily say (like Charles Barkley) - that they're not role models - nonsense - kids look up to athletes and study their actions and behaviors. Should they? That's debatable; however athletes need to keep this in mind that kids mimic their behavior.
I get it's up to the parent/superior to tutor their children - teach them right from wrong; however the I don't know about you - you can pick your athlete - I sure wanted to be Agassi when I grew up - nice to see the way he matured over the years - hopefully this guy although 1/1,000,000 of the talent - does the same.

All true but it's even simpler than that. I have very few rules that I live by, but one of them is "don't be an asshole." It's fairly easy. Most of us have a sense of right and wrong and it's not that difficult to just not be a giant dickhead all the time. It's totally acceptable and fine to get mad. It's natural and a perfectly healthy response to a stressful situation. But when you start breaking stuff, cursing out the umpire in front of the crowd, yelling like a buffoon, deliberately creating a circus, then you're just being a tool.

Does anybody know the number of a good sports psychologist?
From Wikipedia:
Maybe that explains it! He's a spoiled prince!

Kidding aside, he must have a mental illness of some kind.
