Nice goal from Aritz, it probably squeeze into the top twenty of his long and illustrious career in La Liga. Wrong again as usual, it's the old Anoeta stadium and not San Mames where Barcelona have a horrible record. Probably explains why most of the decent and knowlegeable posters on football don't bother and have found better outlets.

In my personal opinion German league is the most predictable league in Europe among the bigger leagues.

In the long run they are less predictable than Bundesliga. No team has won Ligue 1 more than 10 times and before PSG began its run there were 5 different winners in consecutive years. I do agree that Ligue 1 is currently boring although I didn't have it in mind when I used bigger leagues as it is probably not seen as widely throughout the world as EPL, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga. As for the Italian football, it has been dominated by 3 great teams in last 4 decades as opposed to one.

ManU the Premier League and predecessor 20 times. I don't think what happened 40 years ago is a good indicator for predicting what will happen in the upcoming season. Juve is currently ahead of Bayern in terms of consecutively won titles.

I think you are correct that most people will see Juve ahead of Bayern if they try to bet on the chances of winning the current year's league title. Although I was talking about what I have seen over my life time. One way to see how Bundesliga is totally dominated by Bayern is to look at the number of Champions league titles that have been won based on aggregate total titles by nations. In spite of the fact that over the years Germany has been the best football team in Europe, they have only managed to conquer CL 7 times. One can't even argue that CL is won only on strength of money. Even Netherlands have almost matched Germany's performance in CL. The main reason is that there is only one strong team from Germany as opposed to multiple strong clubs from other nations.
