All this time we've been watching movies wrong. I used to watch movies ignoring the color and gender of the characters and judging a movie on story, acting, editing, music score and cinematography. Now RT has taught me race and gender are what matters in movies not my entertainment. www.rottentomatoes.com/source-3166?filter=movie

Just more BS from the left, as usual. darkpastThe link loads up on my PC fine and lists 117 movies. if the site does not load, it's on your end.

darkpastThat's one reason I always prefer to be online on a proper internet machine which is desktop/laptop (proper laptops, not tablets and other junk) otherwise you get a watered down experience of the overall internet experience and can potentially get issues of sites not working etc. but thanks for the info.

johnspartanThanks for the info on where they getting the ratings from as that explains things better. still, it's basically BS from the left as they are more concerned with things being "equal" in everything among races etc instead of just picking which movies the viewer enjoys watching the most straight up, which with their thinking, it's generally going to lower quality overall because they are trying to force minorities into more movies for the sake of it, instead of just picking the best people for a given role in a random movie which is what they should be doing. hell, just look at the math... here in the USA, whites tend to be the majority so it's just general math that they will have the bulk of roles in movies etc. maybe this will change down the road as I suspect the Hispanic population will increase etc, but for the foreseeable future things will pretty much remain how they are. but anyways... all one has to do is release a movie and if it's good, people will rate it highly on IMDb etc. if not, it will be forgotten regardless of the race crap etc. besides... I just tend to assume people in English speaking countries tend to mostly like seeing white people in leading roles as they tend to have the best all around presence on an average over non-whites. some might try to claim that's "racist" (because you can't mention the truth to those on the left nowadays as the truth is often "offensive" to them *roles eyes*) but I suspect it's generally the truth for many people. even on the occasions it's not true, then fine, those non-whites tend to have a solid screen presence like say Denzel Washington/Sam Jackson etc and that's fine and people will praise accordingly. but what the left is pretty much anti-white (and anti-everything else that's proven good in the past, just about) nowadays and get more minorities in movies just for the sake of it regardless if they are any good in a movie or not and that's what I would have a problem with.

I have never understood why people care about Rotten Tomatoes or any other rating side.

Good. it's great that they're holding movies accountable for all the straight white males. Diversity is just as important as story.

Good movies like Once Upon a Tme in Hollywood get a "rotten" diversity rating and junk like Men in Black International gets a "fresh" diversity rating. This tells me diversity doesn't make movies good.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon from 2000 has no diversity in it, but it will probably get a high diversity rating even if it does not have any of it.
Rating a movie after diversity is stupid, a movie should be rated on quality and only quality.
And no i don`t have a problem with diversity in movies.

Diversity is just as important as story. can't wait for the Back to the Future remake where Marty is a black woman and Doc Brown is a gay transgender Muslim I suppose that Doc Brown wont be shot by Libyan terrorists but a group of 8chan users. Or Russians. Russian 8chan users.
But yeah this is stupid but it doesn't surprise me, not like RT hasn't shown its agenda for awhile now. Sheesh just look at the woke buzzwords in these reviews. "Othering". "Punching Down". Then the big daddy of them all. "PROBLEMATIC". I don't understand how these people manage to get out of their house without getting as they would say triggered immediately and have to flee back inside their safe space cocoon.
