Y&T tonight and then Alice Cooper tomorrow. Can take or leave Alice Cooper tbh but my excitement levels are through the roof for Y&T tonight! Hope they get a decent crowd in.

Already this year I've seen Melvins, Michelle Branch, Queens of the Stone Age and Father John Misty, I'm going to see A Perfect Circle in a few weeks and have tickets for Dan Auerbach in March and Weezer/Pixies in July.

Very underrated band. People think they are just another one hit 80's band but they started in the 70's well before Crue, Ratt, and Metallica. Cool!

It's mind-boggling how they never hit the same heights of those bands you mentioned. This will be my third time seeing them and its a crying shame that the venue has been barely half full previously. Still, they have so much energy and passion - without a doubt one of the best live bands anyone will ever see.

I never get tired of seeing them live. They rock it big time. Alice Cooper is also great live. I am not going to miss Y&T next tour. I usually don't miss them.

Woops forgot to post my Toadies/Local H review: Well this was another show where not enough tickets were sold for the upper level to be open, so I had to stand the whole time, ugh.. but oh well, it was still good, Local H were just as great as always, and The Toadies were great too, aand I guess I don't need to say much more since I'm not sure if you know The Toadies that well or not.. Happy belated birthday! Sorry about that my memory gets worse and worse every year.

They played for well over 2 hours and an absolutely brilliant setlist. It was the first time they'd played here since Leonard Haze and Joey Alves had died and they dedicated 'I Believe in You' to them...the solo was perfect and the crowd went crazy, Dave Meniketti actually had tears in his eyes. Absolutely incredible. And their new bass player was excellent. Gig of the year for me. Alice Cooper put on an amazing show too! I'd no idea that Nita Strauss from the Iron Maidens was one of his guitarists...I immediately fell in love! The whole set piece was a feast for the eyes and Alice Cooper still has it for a 69 year old. Great show.

That's awesome glad you enjoyed. I believe Y&T is coming to my area early next year and I will make sure I make that one. Last time I saw them was at a fest with a short set and really crappy sound and I know from experience how awesome they are live so that was a little disappointing. Unfortunately I had to miss the deep purple/Alice cooper tour but I'll try not to miss the next alice cooper tour.

Do Y&T ever stop touring They seem to be non-stop. Can't recommend them highly enough. Do you have any other upcoming gigs? Maiden have announced a Legacy of the Beast tour on these shores next summer so I shall be hitting that, even if the ticket prices are a bit steep...totally worth it. Therion, Anvil, Alestorm and Paradise Lost are all hitting my neck of the woods in February so that is gonna be a busy month.

I guess they'll be hitting the USA at the end of next year or 2019. I'm not familliar with Therion but I am an Anvil fan and they are always great to see. Also I like Paradise Lost. I haven't seen them in awhile. As far as my upcoming shows, so far I am going to see Night Ranger next week, Winger, in a few weeks, and probably UDO in February. Also got my Judas Priest ticket for next March. So a few things scattered here and there but all the major tour dates usually come out in February for the biggest shows.

I think it's most likely to be 2019 before they tour America next, all the 2018 dates have been announced and they're all Europe and here in the UK. They have stated that no more countries will added to the schedule.

Yeah that'll work too. I've seen them so many times I can wait so it's ok. I just hope it's not that indoor arena stuff. I want the outdoor ampitheaters.

Great Loverly/Night Ranger show! I was very surprised to find out that Loverboy was the headliner. Most other people in the venue felt the same way, but both bands delivered in a a major way!

Going to see Converge with Sumac in a couple of months. That's all I have lined up but I am definitely pumped for it.

I've seen Sumac a couple of times live before and they easily held their own opening for Neurosis and Boris. It has Aaron Turner doing some of his best work of his fairly impressive career.

I've booked tickets to see Iron Maiden next August at Manchester, but I'll probably be going to other gigs between now and then.

Great Cannibal Corpse show last night! Gatecreeper kicked it off with a bang. I really like these guys. I'd never heard them before. They played a good 45 minute set. Then was Power Trip. That was some killer thrash. I'd like to pick up some of their stuff. Next was Cannibal corpse and they kicked ass on about an 80 minute set, maybe a little longer. Place was packed. Overall a great night of metal.

Wow I am really far behind on my show reviews, to save myself time, I'm just gonna do a quick one of all of them:
Evanescence 11/2: Great show, I'm not sure if you're familiar with Evanescence or not, good female-fronted hard rock band, I guess maybe a bit like Epica/Within Temptation/etc but with more of a mainstream rock sound.. This was a special kind of show where they played with an orchestra, sounded really interesting
The Hooters 11/4: Excellent show, The Hooters killed it! Glad I finally got to see them
Blackberry Smoke/Aaron Lewis 11/16: Great show, loved Blackberry Smoke, and Aaron was just as great as always, and the opener for the 2 was Alex Williams, really good old-school sounding country, liked him a lot
Dream Theater 11/19: Great show, and through the "Gold VIP upgrade" I got a DT tote bag, signed poster, and a portable phone charger with their logo on it (this one didn't include a meet & greet, that one was like $250, forget that, that's way too costly)
Thrice 11/25: Another great show from Thrice as always, and Circa Survive, ehh, I could tolerate them for a bit but they got annoying fast.. the other 2 bands were good, the instrumental band Chon and a good band from Bucks County called Balance & Composure
And now here's my holiday season show schedule:
12/2: Judge/Cro Mags
12/5: Steve Earle
12/10: Manheim Steamroller
12/12: The White Buffalo
12/27: "Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses" (an orchestra that plays the music of Zelda games)
12/29: Television
12/30: The Genesis Show
And so far, the only 2 2018 shows I have tickets for are:
2/10: Black Veil Brides/Asking Alexandria
2/17: G3 2018 (Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Phil Collen(however it's spelled, Def Leppard guitarist)
