Me and a couple friends were doing this a while ago but historically. The Jeff Bagwell of every team. The biggest example would be Roberto Clemente, who was signed by the Dodgers and taken in the Rule 5 draft. Or Christy Mathewson, a minor leaguer traded for a 240+ game winner, Amos Rusie. Rusie never won a game for the Reds, Mathewson won 373 for the Giants. You couldn't include players like Lou Brock or Pedro Martinez who had had some success in the majors before their trade. Ones that I remember
Paul Konerko (Dodgers) Kenny Lofton (Astros) Adam Wainwright (Braves) Randy Johnson (Expos) Willie McGee (Yankees) Ryne Sandberg (Phillies) John Smoltz (Tigers)
