One Fine Spring Day (Hur Jin-ho, 2001) - despite the brilliance Lee Young-ae and Yu Ji-tae this left me cold, though I can understand why a lot of people disagree with me. This is one that I suspect would find some love among people here, if they gave it a chance.
Then there's the somewhat idiosyncratic two-parter Little Forest: Summer/Autumn and Little Forest: Winter/Spring by Jun'ichi Mori - part instructional cooking videos, part gardening show, as fictional host hangs out with friends and reflects on her life, with her introspection becoming gradually more personal, dark and poignant as the seasons progress. An acquired taste I guess, but full of rewards if you can get into the rhythm.

TV Series but interestingly (I thought) It is AKA on IMDb as WINTER WITH FLOWERS BUT (according to IMDb trivia) The program was originally titled "Winter with Flowers," but when a cake bearing the title was presented at the taping of the first episode, the cast and crew refused to eat any cake unless the name of the series was changed.

Another Anna Neagle movie, Lilacs in the Spring 1954 (though called Let's Make Up in United States), with that Tasmanian actor by her side. The movie was in colour but had a black-and-white prologue.
