Colts are out of Luck

Ho-ly, shit. Just got the alert on my phone via Shefter. That's got to be a giant blow to the hearts of Colts fans. Holy shit.

Retiring at this time shows that he’s an incredibly selfish person who doesn’t give a fuck about the Colts. He should’ve retired at the end of 2018 if he was burned out, you don’t just quit on your team 2 weeks before the season starts, leaving them with nothing they can do, the Colts 2019 season just went down the drain. A dick move on Luck’s part IMO. Just holy shit, this is the most shocking retirement I can ever remember.

I know his shoulder injury recovery was weird and reports that he wasn't trusting it and all but last year he played well. Then whatever this calf/bone injury he has that hasn't quite been figured out. I could see something like this just wearing down on you. Especially if you've been having "emotional scars" like Stephania Bell pointed out above. Maybe the dude just needs to take a break from it all and get his head straight and maybe he comes back in a year or 2. If you're not mentally all in for the grind of the season it's probably best not to play. Could find yourself getting hurt even worse. Sucks for the Colts and the fan base.

So apparently Colts fans are booing Luck during a preseason game. That's pretty shitty.

Luck listening to these shitty fans booing him isn't exactly making him want to go out there and play for them anymore I imagine. Hell, if he wants to just take a few years off and take a break I wouldn't hold it against him to play somewhere else because of how some Colts fans are taking this.

Sorry but this made me laugh. Luck's dad apparently is the Commissioner of the XFL.
